"Baja Desert Israel 2019" will take place for the first time in Israel as part of "East European Tout Terrain Series-EETTS".

​​

"Baja Desert Israel" concept is to offer to competitors a 4 days race program with many kilometers of Special Stages in desert with the less possible liaison sections.

​

Israeli desert is an all new scenery for competitors participating in "East European Tout Terrain Series - EETTS". Apart from Israel, competitors arriving from other countries will face for first time the challenge of competing in a territory that is totally different from any other country that host EETTS events.

​

Organizers provide logistic assistance and solutions for competitors arriving from Europe. Transportation of vehicles, and spare parts along with Customs Office clearence will be in disposal for any competitor wishing to participate to "Baja Desert Israel". Accommodation and hospitality services will be also available for all participants and visitors.

​

"Super Rally - Forfettaria Rule" will be applicable during all Legs of "Baja Desert Israel". In this way, competitors will have the opportunity to race as many kilometers as possible, even if some mechanical problem occurs.

 

Organizers have as main goal to provide the highest possible level of safety along with the traditional Israeli hospitality and original spirit of motorsport.

During "Baja Desert Israel" Organizers will provide three different categories of competition:

​

1. EETTS - Baja. Navigation with Roadbook. The fastest wins. Results count for EETTS classification

2. GPS - Baja. Navigation with GPS route. The fastest wins. Results do not count for EETTS.

3. Raid - Baja. Navigation with GPS or roadbook. Regularity race. Competitor chooses the way of navigation. The most precise in timing wins. Results do not count for EETTS.

Israeli off-road racing tradition is well known for spectacular events in desert where the fastest is not always the winner since navigation is very important. With a huge desert territory available to racing, Organizers have the flexibility to offer each time a different route with different levels of difficulty.

​

An international Cross Country Rally was always an objective for Israeli motorsport. "Baja Desert Israel" is the first international CCR event conducted in the country setting new standards on organization levels and attracting for first time competitors from Europe and neghboring countries.

​

On March 2019 Israel makes its step to the international motorsport map with ambition to establish a dominant position respected by competitors and other organizers.
